[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide administrative and operational support to the Office;

(b) handle applications for awards and funding support;

(c) assist in the marketing and organising of awards, events, activities and programmes;

(d) assist in compiling records and proposal;

(e) maintain effective record systems and databases;

(f) assist in providing secretarial support to the Section Head of the Student Resources and Support Section; and

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students or his/her delegates.

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours occasionally.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree or an equivalent qualification, with at least three years of post-qualification work experience;

(b) have a passion for serving youth and starting up a career in student services;

(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(d) have good interpersonal and communication skills;

(e) be reliable, willing to learn and detail-oriented; and

(f) have good computer literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
