Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide administrative and clerical support to taught programmes and continuing education courses;

(b) coordinate and support teaching and learning activities and new initiatives;

(c) assist in data management and report compilation;

(d) supervise frontline staff to ensure quality discharge of the duties assigned; and

(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have a recognised degree with some administrative experience;

(b) have proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;

(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;

(d) have good communication and interpersonal skills;

(e) be attentive to details and be able to work independently and proactively with minimum supervision;

(f) be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines; and

(g) be a good team player.

Preference will be given to those with experience in programme administration and database management.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
