ATM Kiosk & Smart Locker Design

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Designer or Mechanical Engineer to develop mechanical systems for ATM kiosks and smart parcel lockers, from initial concepts through prototyping and production.

The work involves designing dependable mechanical assemblies and integrating hardware such as locking systems, access doors, dispensing units, motors, sensors, touchscreens, card readers, and other electronic components.

The ideal candidate can manage the complete product development process, including CAD modeling, functional prototyping, mechanical testing, design improvements, and preparation of production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 3D CAD models and mechanical assemblies for ATM kiosks and smart locker systems.

Design automated dispensing mechanisms and other motion-based mechanical systems.

Integrate electromechanical components, including actuators, motors, sensors, locks, and related hardware.

Optimize designs for manufacturability, straightforward assembly, maintenance, and servicing.

Produce accurate engineering drawings and technical documentation for manufacturing.

Develop physical prototypes using 3D printing and other suitable prototyping methods.

Evaluate prototype performance, identify mechanical issues, and implement design improvements.

Finalize the design for manufacturing and production.

Expected Deliverables

Complete 3D CAD models and mechanical assemblies

Manufacturing-ready engineering drawings

Bill of Materials (BOM) with recommended components

3D-printable files for prototype fabrication

A functional mechanical prototype

A finalized, production-ready design package

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience designing ATMs, self-service kiosks, parcel lockers, vending machines, or comparable automated products are strongly preferred.

You should have a solid background in mechanical engineering and product development, with demonstrated experience moving a design from concept to a tested prototype and ultimately to manufacturing.

Practical experience with automated mechanical systems, component integration, and iterative prototype development will be particularly valuable.
